Gorgeous Hotel Pool Bucket List

Here’s a list of the hotel pools I’d love to have a swim in before I kick the bucket.

Ideally quite a long time before. Next week would be fine!

The Marina Bay Sands in Singapore

150 metres of beautiful swimming pool at the Marina Bay Sands

My husband once annoyed me intensely by staying for three nights at the Marina Bay Sands in Singapore and not using the pool once! His pathetic excises of having to work hard and it being too busy fell on deaf, outraged ears.

The pool at this top end Singapore hotel is 191 metres above the ground. Vertigo whilst swimming! I’m not the fittest swimmer, but 10 laps here would see me do 1.5km and that would do me just fine before a cocktail.

Sigh!

Burj Al Arab, Dubai

Now I have stayed at some lovely hotels with cool pools in Dubai, but my gaze was always drawn to the magnificent Burj Al Arab stretching elegantly skywards.

There are two huge pools at the Burj Al Arab, on the Terrace. The freshwater pool is over 612 square metres and has a swim-up bar. The saltwater infinity pool is 828 square metres. There are also jacuzzis, plenty of loungers and views to die for.

Look, as soon as I have had a dip there, I’ll report back fully. Have you been? Drool over the Burj Al Arab on its website here.

This beachfront resort hotel is ideal for swimmers since it has a massive pool, over 5000 square metres of it. If you swim the whole length of the beachfront side, your lap will be 250 metres long.
